i was inspired by an artist I follow who prints on fabric and then turns them into quilt collages. I'm sticking to paper! Using my cyanotype prints that aren't pretty enough to frame, I'm cutting them up for fun abstract collages. I

I decided I need more variety and researched simple was to print my own papers. Have to admit I had lots of fun!

  1. Bubble Print: I know kids do this but it's still fun for us big kid too. Mixing paint, water and dish soap gave me a nice colorful bubble paint.

2. Veggie Print - Again kids play but cheap quick version with a block print look. Using potatoes cut in half and carved with a knife. Acrylic ink works well.

3. Foam sheet printing: Could be a kids thing but the cutting is a bit much. Cut out shapes in a thicker foam sheet. I used a stamp pad for this and it went fast.
